According to the decree 16852 dated 28/04/2006 and published by the Ministry of Telecommunications , new fixed tariffs for Internet dial-up users are applied starting 1/7/2006.
The new rates depending on your monthly consumption:

| >above 1 to 15 hrs (60 min – 900 mn ) | 750 LBP / hr |
| >above 16 to 300 hrs ( 960 min – 18000 mn ) | 500 LBP / hr |
| >above 300 hrs ( 18001 mn or more ) | Regular Local Rate |
All you have to do is :
1. Get a regular phone line.
2. Get an Internet account from an authorized ISP.
3. Use one of the 4-digit numbers dedicated for this ISP.
Important Notices :
1- Each time you make a dial up connection, you should give the modem one or two - minute - lost time before you can use the internet . This time gap is counted by the Ministry of Telecommunications and not by the internet provider. Please take into consideration this time when you count the monthly fees.
2-The ISDN dial up services are subject to the same reduce tariffs (enclosed), since the call is made from a digit number .
